Devghat

Devghat

Devghat is a major Hindu pilgrimage site where the Trisuli and Kali Gandaki rivers meet, creating a sacred confluence. Devotees visit for ritual bathing, ancestral ceremonies, and spiritual merit, as the site is believed to amplify the power of prayers and purification.

Special Pujas/Rituals & Duration with Purpose

  • Holy Bath / Snan (30–45 minutes): Performed in the sacred river confluence to cleanse sins, remove karmic impurities, and purify the mind and body. Strengthens spiritual merit and prepares devotees for rituals.
  • Shraddha / Pinda Daan (1–2 hours): Conducted to honor ancestors and ensure their peace. This ritual helps devotees receive blessings from forebears, maintain family harmony, and fulfill karmic duties.
  • Special Shiva / Vishnu Puja (Optional, 1–1.5 hours): Performed to seek divine protection, prosperity, and spiritual upliftment. Can also be aligned with personal intentions or family welfare.
