Gosaikunda is a high-altitude sacred lake in Langtang National Park, revered especially during Janai Purnima. According to legend, it was created by Lord Shiva’s trident, and taking a dip in its icy waters is believed to cleanse sins, remove negative karma, and grant spiritual merit. Pilgrims undertake demanding treks to experience its sacred energy.
