Pashupatinath Temple — Rudravishek / Laghu Rudri / Maha Mrityunjaya & Sankalpa

Pashupatinath Temple — Rudravishek / Laghu Rudri / Maha Mrityunjaya & Sankalpa

One of the most sacred Shiva shrines in the world. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site on the banks of the Bagmati River in Kathmandu. Devotees perform various pujas like Rudravishek (ritual bath and chanting of Shiva’s mantras), Laghu Rudri, and Maha Mrityunjaya for spiritual purification, longevity, and healing. Sankalpa is the ritual declaration of intent, and the Plus Grahadosh Nivaran version includes additional prayers to mitigate astrological afflictions.
